On the weekend of the 25th April The Black Army travelled to Devon Cliffs. We took all four teams (U7s to U10s) and despite a terrible weather forecast we were very lucky with the weather. Everyone had great time. Devon Cliffs was a great location to stay for a touring side and everyone had a fantastic time. On Sunday, local side Exmouth very kindly organised a mini rugby festival. It was superbly organised and the atmosphere at Exmouth wast friendly and fun. We played a variety of teams, with other Welsh touring teams in the mix. It was very interesting playing the English rules but this actually suited us better than the Welsh rules as it promoted open play and running rugby. We were very pleased with our performance. Every Black Army team won every game they played in. This is not the main focus, but was nice to see how we've developed. Many thanks again to Exmouth RFC for organising such a great festival and being so welcoming.
